Welcome to Mission forJOY / forJOY. These Terms and Conditions govern your use of our website and your purchase of products from our Shopify store.

By accessing our website or placing an order, you agree to these Terms and Conditions, as well as any policies referenced here, including our Shipping Policy, Return Policy, and Privacy Policy.

If you do not agree with these Terms and Conditions, please do not use our website or place an order.

Our online store is hosted by Shopify. Shopify provides the e-commerce platform that allows us to sell our products to you.

We reserve the right to update, modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the website at any time, without notice, subject to applicable law.

3. Products

We make reasonable efforts to describe and display our products as accurately as possible. However, we cannot guarantee that product images, colours, sizing, textures, or details will appear exactly the same on every device or screen.

Product availability is not guaranteed. We may limit quantities, discontinue products, or remove products from the store at any time.

Some products may be offered as limited releases, final sale items, customized products, or made-to-order products. Any special conditions will be identified on the product page, at checkout, or in our policies.

4. Prices, Currency, and Taxes

All prices are listed in Canadian dollars (CAD) unless otherwise stated.

Applicable taxes, including GST and QST, will be calculated and charged at checkout where required.

Shipping fees, customs duties, import taxes, brokerage fees, and other third-party charges are not included in the product price unless expressly stated.

We reserve the right to update prices at any time. If a product is listed with an incorrect price, incorrect description, or incorrect availability, we reserve the right to correct the error and, where permitted by law, cancel or refuse the affected order.

5. Payment

We accept the payment methods made available through Shopify and shown at checkout.

Payment must be authorized and successfully processed before an order is fulfilled.

By submitting payment information, you confirm that you are authorized to use the selected payment method and that the billing information you provide is accurate.

We do not store full payment card details on our website. Payments are processed through Shopify and/or third-party payment providers.

6. Orders

After placing an order, you should receive an order confirmation by email. This confirms that we have received your order, but it does not guarantee final acceptance of the order.

We reserve the right to refuse, cancel, or limit an order where we reasonably believe there is:

• incorrect pricing or product information
• inventory unavailability
• suspected fraud or unauthorized activity
• abuse of promotions, discounts, or return policies
• an error in the order or checkout process
• another issue that prevents us from fulfilling the order

If we cancel an order after payment has been processed, we will issue a refund to the original payment method, subject to payment provider processing times.

7. Order Changes and Cancellations

Once an order has been placed, we cannot guarantee that changes or cancellations can be made.

If you need to update or cancel an order, contact us as soon as possible at info@forjoy.ca with your order number.

If the order has already been processed, packed, or shipped, it may no longer be possible to cancel or modify it.

8. Shipping

Orders are processed within 1–5 business days after purchase. Orders are not shipped on weekends or holidays. During product launches, restocks, or high-volume periods, processing times may be slightly extended.

We currently ship to Canada and the United States. International shipping outside Canada and the United States may be unavailable or limited.

Shipping rates are calculated at checkout based on your location and selected shipping method.

Once your order ships, you will receive a confirmation email with tracking information. All orders include tracking, although tracking updates may take some time to appear.

9. Customs, Duties, and Import Fees

Orders shipped outside Canada may be subject to customs duties, taxes, brokerage fees, or import fees determined by the destination country or local authorities.

These charges are not included in the order total or shipping cost and are the customer’s responsibility.

We are not responsible for delays caused by customs processing, border inspections, or import requirements.

10. Lost, Delayed, Stolen, or Returned Packages

If your package is lost, delayed, or cannot be located, contact us at info@forjoy.ca and we will do our best to assist you.

While we are not responsible for carrier delays, incorrect shipping information provided by the customer, theft after delivery confirmation, or events outside our reasonable control, we understand these situations can be frustrating and will review them case by case.

Nothing in this section limits any rights you may have under applicable consumer protection laws.

If a package is returned to us because of an incorrect or incomplete address, refusal of delivery, or failure to pick up the package, the customer may be responsible for additional shipping costs.

11. Returns

We accept returns within 14 days of the delivery date.

To be eligible for a return:

• items must be unused, unworn, and in original condition
• all original tags and packaging must be included
• proof of purchase or order confirmation is required

12. Non-Returnable Items

The following items are not eligible for return:

• final sale items
• gift cards
• customized or made-to-order products
• items showing signs of wear, washing, or damage

We reserve the right to refuse returns that do not meet these conditions, subject to applicable law.

13. Return Process

To initiate a return, contact us at info@forjoy.ca.

Please include:

• your order number
• the item or items you wish to return
• the reason for the return

Once your return is reviewed and approved, we will provide return instructions.

Do not send items back without first contacting us and receiving return instructions.

14. Refunds

Refunds will be issued to the original payment method once the returned item has been received and inspected.

Please allow 5–10 business days for the refund to appear in your account, depending on your payment provider.

Original shipping charges may not be refundable unless required by law or unless the return is due to our error.

15. Return Shipping Costs

Customers are responsible for return shipping costs unless the item received was defective or incorrect.

We recommend using a trackable shipping service for returns. We are not responsible for return packages that are lost or damaged in transit.

16. Damaged or Incorrect Orders

If you receive a damaged or incorrect item, contact us within 48 hours of delivery at info@forjoy.ca.

Please include your order number and photos of the damaged or incorrect item, packaging, and shipping label where possible.

We will review the issue and do our best to make it right.

17. Warranties

Unless expressly stated otherwise, forJOY does not offer an additional commercial warranty beyond the return and damaged-order policies described above.

However, nothing in these Terms and Conditions limits any legal warranty, consumer protection right, or other mandatory right that may apply under Quebec, Canadian, or other applicable law.

18. Promotions, Discount Codes, and Gift Cards

Promotions, discount codes, and gift cards may be subject to additional terms, restrictions, expiry dates, or exclusions.

Discount codes must be entered at checkout and cannot be applied retroactively unless we choose to make an exception.

We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or cancel promotions where permitted by law, including in cases of fraud, abuse, technical error, or misuse.

Gift cards are not eligible for return.

19. Account Information

You may be able to create an account on our website. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account login information and for all activity under your account.

You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information when creating an account or placing an order.

We may suspend or terminate access to an account if we reasonably believe it has been used fraudulently, unlawfully, or in violation of these Terms and Conditions.
